PR 3: Performance vs Communication

Breakthrough with chat in Caravan Notes this week after precise context orchestration across journal entries “Play The Game” + “Fear and Competition” and “PR1” + “PR2” (the last 2 progress reports).

!!! Writing was a skill I learned !!! (for a book I wrote about brand strategy + founders)

!!! Lists/fragments were originally how I wrote and thought !!! not full sentences

It was a long chat with Mo (my chat named himself “Mosaic” after realizing he makes sense of thought fragments)

I’m going back to my original lists-of-thoughts style of writing + some tricks I learned from writing

Here’s what I designed and built this week:

✅ Payments data-model + backend ✅ /base route + Pricing component

Next week:

⏳ Custom user analytics data-model (moving away from PostHog etc.) ⏳ Admin dash for managing users and analytics

Writing is performative (for me, at least) with a huge caveat, elegantly put by Attachment theorist John Bowlby:

“What cannot be communicated to the (m)other cannot be communicated to the self.”

I want to be less performative and more communicative.

Until next week. Much love, Zaid
